Galileo’s World • Group Tours
Bizzell Library, 5th floor
Schedule a docent-led tour through the Exhibit Hall or arrange for an in-depth learning experience in the Harlow Room using special collections materials.
Group tours are designed for various university classes, diverse community groups, school visits and campus guests. We welcome inquiries from groups of 5-30 people, ages 3rd grade through senior citizens. Larger groups may be accommodated by special arrangement.
Docents will work with group leaders to select the approach to the tour that best fits the particular group. In conjunction with a tour, groups may request use of the Harlow Room, a teaching classroom adjacent to the Exhibit Hall, for more in-depth activities, analysis, or discussion.
Tours may range in length from 30 to 90 minutes, depending on the group.
We welcome tour requests for the 2017-2018 academic year. It is not too early to reserve a tour. Space and schedules are limited, so tours are approved on a first-come first-served basis. Generally, tours cannot be approved with less than 2 weeks advance notice.

Each of these tours may also incorporate educational activities to emphasize the content and the connections.
